This is a BRAND NEW OEM Carrier/Bryant/Payne Furnace 2 Stage Gas Valve. The Carrier/Bryant/Payne Part # is EF33CW186 (also EF33CW186A) and The White Rodgers # is 36E54 206. Valve has a 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet with four wiring terminals on top. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
