This is a BRAND NEW OEM Lennox/Armstrong/Ducane Heat Pump Defrost Sensor Thermostat. It is rated at L70-28F meaning it opens at 70 degrees and closes at 42 degrees. The part # is 97M60 (also97M6001). This sensor mounts on a copper line inside the heat pump. When a defrost sensor goes bad the heat pump will often turn to a solid block of ice (although this is not the only ice causing failure).
