This is a Brand New Drop in X13 ClimaTek Replacement Furnace Blower Motor. It is a direct replacement for the old part numbers below. It's 1/2 HP & 208-230 volt. This motor requires no new wiring, no field programming, and no complicated installations. Simply unplug the wiring harness on your old motor and plug it into this one! The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). It comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
