Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM GE Genteq York/Coleman/Luxaire Furnace X13 BLOWER MOTOR. The GE Genteq Part # is 5SME39NXL070. It's 3/4 HP 208-230 volt and 1050 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 4" out of the motor and is 1/2" in diameter. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture) the rotation is clockwise. Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
