This is a BRAND NEW GE Carrier/Bryant/Payne 4-Speed BLOWER MOTOR. The part # is HC41SE121 (also HC41SE121A). The Ge Part # is 5KCP39JGN797AS. It's 1/3 HP 115 volt 1075 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 4.25" out of the motor. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture) the rotation is clockwise.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor.
