Description
This is a Brand New ClimaTek capacitor rated at 45/7.5 uf/MFD and 370 / 440 volts. This capacitor is 2.25" in diameter and 3.88" tall (not counting the wiring terminals). It may be slightly thinner or shorter than your existing capacitor, but the physical dimensions do not affect the operation.
Function:
A capacitor gives a motor a boost to get it up and running. Start capacitors help a motor/compressor get started, while run capacitors help a motor/compressor get started and run.
