Description
This is a Brand New ClimaTek capacitor rated at 12.5 uf/MFD and 370 / 440 volts. This capacitor measures 2.5"H x 1"W x 2"L (not counting the wiring terminals). It may be slightly thinner or shorter than your existing capacitor, but the physical dimensions do not affect the operation.
Function:
A capacitor gives a motor a boost to get it up and running. Start capacitors help a motor/compressor get started, while run capacitors help a motor/compressor get started and run.
