Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Gas Valve. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. This valve is designed for all furnace model #s starting with DGAT/DGAA/DLAS & More. It has an 1/2" inlet on the left and then discharges the gas through the back. Flip a brass fitting on the vavle to convert it from NAT gas to LP gas. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
