This is a BRAND NEW Mars Universal 24" Thermocouple for Standing Pilot units. It works on furnaces water heaters pool heaters ect and is a direct replacement for White Rodgers & A.O.Smith part # H06E-24 & TC-K24. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
A flame sensor senses the furnace flame ensuring that ignition has occurred. It then monitors the flame until the furnace shut down. Should combustion be disrupted for any reason the sensor loses its signal and shuts the gas valve off.
