This is a BRAND NEW ClimaTek Furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor. It is designed to directly replace all of the old part numbers listed below. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though €œnatural draft€. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    Perfect Replacement!!

    Received the enducer fan within a couple of days so quick shipping. It was a perfect replacement for my Goodman Furnace. Only things to note: the fan came with 4 long bolts, whereas my original fan had 2 long bolts and 2 short bolts securing it. The original gasket still looked decent so I used "The Right Stuff" gasket maker to add an extra bit of safety to keep any gases from escaping. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the replacement, and it's been working quietly well. As a homeowner, I feel that it wasn't a difficult replacement at all with only having to remove 8 bolts, 1 nut(for the ground), 3 clamps, and then doing a bit of wiring. I would buy this product again through North American HVAC if/when it has any future issues.
