Description

This is a BRAND NEW White Rodgers Universal Furnace Gas Valve. The White Rodgers part # is 36C03333 and it is a direct replacement for the part #s below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.

    It hasn't turned cold so I can't say how this will last long term or through heavy use, but it is the perfect size and so far is working just as I would want a new gas valve to work. The only improvement I could suggest is a little clearer wiring instructions. The schematic didn't match how my old furnace valve was installed and it wasn't clear that the jumper across the solenoid was needed. Once I figured that out, it worked great!
