Description
This is a BRAND NEW 1/4 HP, 208-230 Volt, 1100 RPM Condenser Fan Motor. It was built by as an exact replacement for the ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comformaker/Arcoaire/Synder General/Kenmore part #s below. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). If the motor is sitting w/shaft up (as in the picture) rotation is counter clockwise! The shaft extends 1.5" out of the motor. The motor has three wires. Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
