Description
This is a BRAND NEW ICP/Heil/Tempstar Furnace Gas Valve with part # 1585965 (White Rodgers # 36E03 206). It has a 1/2" inlet and 1/2" outlet. Valve is 4-7/8" long. This gas valve is ued ONLY for LP gas- it cannot be used for natural gas. The pressure is adjustable from 8.0" to 12.0" w/c. The valve also comes with six LP burner orifices if needed. Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
