This is a New Top Quality ClimaTek Furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor. It is deisgned to work with ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comfortmaker/Kenmore/Arcoaire/Synder General Furnaces. The motor is rated at 115 volts and it is a direct replacement part for the part #s below.
* IMPORTANT!! - PLEASE NOTE: When Replaceing some older style Heil, Tempstar, Intercity Products Furnace Inducer Blowers that have a Brown Colored Inducer Housing you will need to order an additional Fitting Kit Part Number 1150984, sold in our store. This kit adapts the new motor to the existing flue opening.
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though natural draft. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.
