Description

This is a New Top Quality ClimaTek Furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor. It is deisgned to work with ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comfortmaker/Kenmore/Arcoaire/Synder General Furnaces. The motor is rated at 115 volts and it is a direct replacement part for the part #s below.
 
* IMPORTANT!! - PLEASE NOTE: When Replaceing some older style Heil, Tempstar, Intercity Products Furnace Inducer Blowers that have a Brown Colored Inducer Housing you will need to order an additional Fitting Kit Part Number 1150984, sold in our store. This kit adapts the new motor to the existing flue opening.
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though natural draft. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    Fast shipping and packaged well. I installed this product the next day after receiving it in mid December and haven't had any issues with it. When your HVAC tech tells you that you need a part, it pays to shop online. This product saved me about $700.

    Works well. Vibrates less than the previous one I had. Good price, considering it is less than half the price of similar ones I have seen for this furnace.

    Unit shipped and arrived a day earlier than planned.
    The fan motor looks a little smaller than the original and the capacitor is much smaller. The wires also look much smaller but to be fair most of the diameter of the old wires is insulation. I'm sure it's over-engineered for safety but if it gets that hot in there I'll have other things to worry about! Installation went easily - fit was right on. Fired up right away and has been running strong for about a week now. Thank you for the right part at a good price!
