Description
This is a BRAND NEW Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/4 HP 208-230 volts 825 RPM. The Intertherm/Nordyen/Miller part number is 621912 (replaces old part # 621306) and the Zhongshan Broad-Ocean # is Y7S86SC52 (also YS862C52). The motor has three wires and takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. If the shaft is facing up as seen in the picture rotation would be counter clockwise. The motor is 48Y Frame ( 5 5/8" Diameter).
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
