Description
This is a BRAND NEW-In-The-BOX Universal Furnace Relay with a 24 volt coil. It has two completely independant circuits with 2 seperate "Feed" terminals 2 "Normally Open" set of contacts and 2 "Normally Closed" set of contacts. Many OEM relays do not have as many terminals on them as this one does- simply disregard any extra terminals. They are there to make the relay a universal replacement. We use them for furnace and air conditioning repairs but they are great for any purpose. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
