It is designed to replace Many Norton models starting with 271Y along with Uni-Line part #s 41-406 Supco IG1406 & Mars/Mars2 part # 67925 . Simply unplug yours and plug this one in. Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
