This is a BRAND NEW OEM Aprilaire Humidifier Self Tapping Saddle Valve. Aprilaire part # 4001 (or AP-4001). This is the self-tapping water valve that attaches to the water line in your home and supplies water to the Aprilaire Humidifier. It is designed to either be open or closed and is not designed to regulate the flow of the water. Fits 3/8" O.D. to 7/8" O.D. copper tubing with 1/4" O.D. compression outlet. Includes brass needle valve steel saddle clamp nuts sleeves and inserts for poly or copper tubing. Do not install on PVC or PEX water line.Thanks for looking and good luck!
