Description
This is a brand new OEM Amrad run capacitor. It is rated at 35.0 uf/MFD and 370/440 Volt. It is an upgraded OEM replacement for part # RA2000-44-356. Amrad is a top quality capacitor and one of the only USA made capacitors. This capacitor may or may not come with an additional Orange "CPT" terminal on top (as shown in photo #2). This Orange CPT terminal is only used if a Hard start device has been installed in your unit. If you receive the version with a new terminal and do not have a hardstart capacitor, you may disregard it.
Function:
A capacitor gives a motor a boost to get it up and running. Start capacitors help a motor/compressor get started, while run capacitors help a motor/compressor get started and run.
