OEM Carrier Bryant Payne Condenser Fan Motor MOT13834 MOT18665
This is a BRAND NEW OEM Carrier/Bryant/Payne FAN MOTOR. It is rated at 1/3 HP, 208-230 volts and 825 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft is 1/2" in. If the shaft is facing up, the motor rotates counter-clockwise. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
