This is a BRAND NEW GE Carrier/Bryant/Payne FAN MOTOR. The part # is HC41FB666A (also replaces old #s listed below). The Ge Part # is 5KCP39FGG015AS (works in all the Carrier/Bryant furnaces listed below.) It's 1/3 HP 208-230 volt 1600 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 5" out of the motor in both directions. The motor has 2 power wires and 2 capacitor wires. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
