Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

Works great but arrived with damaged screws/bolts

Posted by Ariel on 10th May 2020 2:03

The unit is a OEM replacement for my old motor. It was basically plug. However, the unit arrived with three of the screws/bolts bent out of shape. I was able to remove the three damaged bolts and swap them out with parts from my old unit.

I chatted with and emailed customer support. They were fairly prompt in responding to my concerns and issued a discount. So I have no problems there. Just wish the unit did not arrived with misaligned screws/bolts as it was a bit of work for me to remove.

Other than that, unit works just fine and has been for the past week.
