Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM GE Carrier/Bryant/Payne Blower Motor. It is a 4 speed motor rated at 1/3 HP 115 volt 1075 RPM. The motor has a 42 frame with mounting ears welded to the body and the shaft is 1/2" in diameter. If the shaft is facing up the motor rotates clockwise. It replaced the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
