It is rated at 1/5 HP, 230 volt, 1075 RPM.?á?áThe motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y).?á This motor is special in that it mounts with three "ears" that are welded to the sides of the motor!?á The shaft extends 5.5" out of the motor and if facing up (as seen in the picture) rotation is clockwise.?á?áThe motor has?á3 speed wires, 2 capacitor wires 1 common and?á1 ground.?á It replaced the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
