This is a Brand New Goodman/Janitrol 7" Main Limit Switch rated at 190 Degrees (L190-30). This Limit Switch goes on many Goodman/Janitrol furnaces- if it looks like your limit and your limit switch is approx 7" long and has the same Temp. ratings then this will work for you. It will also fit some other systems with the same Temperature rating/Length. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
A limit switch is a safety device designed to shut down a piece of equipment. Limits have a set point, which is in some cases, adjustable. The set point prevents the temperature or pressure from exceeding the rating of the switch.
