Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM Double Shafted 3-Speed Blower Motor for a GOODMAN/JANITROL/AMANA Furnace. It's 3/4 HP 115 volts 1075 RPM. If the motor is sitting with the shaft facing up (as in the picture) it rotates CLOCKWISE. It takes a 20 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. Motor has 4 speed wires 1 neutral wire 2 capacitor wires and one green grounding wire.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
