This is a BRAND NEW OEM ICP/Heil/Tampstar 5-Speed Furnace Blower Motor. The motor is 1 HP 115 volt and 1075 RPM. It replaces the old parts numbers listed below.
 
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    Furnace fan

    Direct replacement for the existing fan motor. Hardest part about replacement was getting the fan off the old motor’s shaft. Make sure you have a punch or a screw driver you don’t mind hitting with a hammer. I thought about oil, but I didn’t want to smell it all over my house. Take pictures of where all the wires go. Colors are the same or at least they were for me.
