Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Rheem/Ruud Water Heater Retrofit Kit. It includes the gas valve, burner assembly, and all of the extra pieces shown in the photo. It is designed for use with natural gas.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
