OEM White Rodgers LP Furnace Gas Valve 36C84-400 36C84400 This is a brand new OEM White Rodgers LP Furnace gas valve. The White Rodgers part # is 36C84 400. It has a 5 wire wiring harness attached to it with a 3/4" inlet and outlet for the gas piping. The part is new but has some cosmetic tarnishing from being stored without a box. Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
