This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Silicon Nitride Igniter. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. Silicon Nitride ignitors last 3-5x as long as normal ignitors. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
