Description
This is a BRAND NEW Universal Robertshaw furnace Gas Valve. The Robertshaw # is 700-424 (also 7000BGVER & 307-501-757). The valve has a 3/4" inlet and 1/2" outlet along with 2 reducers to reduce either/both sides to 1/2". Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
