Control board replaced and works fine. The documentation was slightly unclear for the neutral wire terminal connections, but, once you compare your old pics and notes from the old board against the instructions, you will see that the connections are listed in order from the hot side thru the neutral side.
I was a little disappointed that the new heating element was not connector plug compatible to the existing, but, no big deal to cut off the old connector and make the hardwire twist on connections. Did not need the extra wiring harness/connectors pictured, they are for brands other than Trane.
Needed a furnace company tech to confirm the board was bad, but considering they wanted another 1,500 dollars to buy a board, install, and test it, this was definitely the way to go!
Might only be another few of years before the heat exchanger goes out on a 16 year old unit, but, it saved me money for now.

While the directions could have been clearer regarding wiring connections, the replacement of the board was straight forward and successful. The part has not given us any problems since installation two weeks ago. Ordering and delivery were no problem. Thanks!
