Description
This is a BRAND NEW GE Genteq ECM BLOWER MOTOR (Motor only, module sold seperately) designed for Trane/American Standard Furnaces. It replaces 3/4 and 1 HP motors- 120/240volt and 1050 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 4" out of the motor and is 1/2" in diameter. The rotation is reversible. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
