Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM YORK/LUXAIRE/COLEMAN 2 Stage furnace Gas Valve.York/Luxiare/Coleman part # is 025-38915-000 (White Rodgers # 36G54 250). It's designed for HOT SURFACE IGNITION and it replaces all the old York part #s listed below. (Valve has an updated look from the old White Rodgers look but is the direct replacement!) The valve has an 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet. The valve is currently set up for NAT gas.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
