This is a BRAND NEW OEM Upgraded Trane/American Standard Furnace Control Circuit Board.The main picture is the board that replaces the old obsolete board in the second photo.
Function:
The control board is the "brain" of your unit, coordinating and executing the operation of other various components by sending voltage when and where needed. A control board is constantly monitoring sensors and safety switches in the unit.

    Perfect Drop-in Replacement

    Slightly modernized, but a super-easy drop-in replacement for the older 50a51 unit that died in our Trade TDD080R936C4. Replaced in about 30 minutes, and thanks to the new dip switches on this model, our furnace is actually using two stages of heat. Installer had originally bridged W1/W2 and been using solely stage two for over 20 years. Glad to have tackled the replacement ourselves, as we saved $400 over a local tech.

    Control board arrived on time, had instructions with it!

    I was without heat for three days in 25 degree weather. I ordered on Sunday, it shipped on Monday and I had the part Tuesday. It shipped with instructions as it is an updated part so the connectors are in different locations. This made the swap very easy!
