Description
This is a BRAND NEW Intertherm/Miller/Nordyne 3-Speed Blower Motor. It's 1/4 HP 115 volts 1075 RPM. The Zhongshan Broad-Ocean # is YL623C02. The motor has three mounting "ears" welded to the motor body. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture) the motor rotates CLOCKWISE. Shaft extends 3" out of the motor.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
