Description
This is a new 15/17 KW ClimaTek Heat Sequensor for an electric furnace. It is used to stage the heating elements on one at a time so that there is no drain on the electric. It has a 24 volt coil and is good for up to 3 heating elements. It replaces York/Coleman/Luxaire Part #s 3400-3571 & 3115-3571. There is no warranty and all sales are final.
Function:
Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
