Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Blower Wheel/Squirrel Cage. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. It's 11.5" in diameter and 10.75" tall. If the set screws are facing up (as in the picture) it rotates Clock-Wise. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
