Description
This is a Brand New OEM US Motors Universal Condenser Fan Motor. It replaces 1/3 - 1/6 HP, 208-230 volt, 1075 RPM condenser fan motors. As with all universal fan motors, the shaft may or may not need to be cut down. It mounts either from studs in the back or screws in the side. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
